Attiwill's Home & Industry is a specialised hardware and industrial sales outlet. It is a proudly Australian and independently owned business situated in Mount Gambier, South Australia.

Established in 1978 by Ian Attiwill, the business was originally known as Ian Attiwill Sales and supplied and serviced the forestry and transport industries of the south east of South Australia and western districts of Victoria.

With the rapid mechanisation within the timber industry in the early 1980's Ian Attiwill Sales began importing harvesting machinery to be used in softwood plantations. Ian Attiwill also designed a felling head and specialised boom that could be mounted on excavators. This machinery was purpose built for harvesting softwood and was sold throughout mainland Australia and Tasmania.

Also during the '80's Ian Attiwill Sales diversified into sales of industrial products including a broad range of fasteners. They have the most extensive stocks of nuts, bolts and fasteners in Mount Gambier. They also extended into the building industry, initially supplying nailing systems to builders. This particular aspect of the business expanded rapidly to include a complete range of furniture and hardware fittings and accessories, which are supplied to cabinetmakers and the home handyman. Industrial paint and spray stains were added to the product range as well as anti-fouling coatings, which are used in the fishing and pleasure-craft industries.

Ian Attiwill Sales moved into larger premises in 1985, which included a showroom. This was required because of a change of focus from being chiefly wholesale trade orientated to broaden their customer base to include a growing retail market.

In 2002 the name was changed to Attiwill's Home & Industry in order to reflect the changing image of the company. Within two years the showroom was expanded to cater for the rapid growth of retail sales as well as featuring constantly changing industry trends and fashions.

With the boom in the building and home renovation trend in early 2000, a workshop and another showroom were added to incorporate another facet of the business to be known as Wardrobe World. Wardrobe World specialises in Clairson ventilated shelving systems for wardrobes and pantries, and manufacture a comprehensive range of sliding wardrobe doors in solid timber, painted, gyprock, melamine or to your specific requirements. They also manufacture and install a full range of shower screens including frameless, semi-frameless and specialty screens.

Wardrobe World has become known for its range of home storage solutions and accessories.
